Hunting Terrain At The Double Barrel Upland Bird Ranch
Our terrain is gentle and easy to walk

Bird habitat requires three essential provisions, food, cover, and water.

Double Barrel Upland Bird Ranch is prime habitat for pheasant, chukar, and quail. The hunting fields are adjacent to CRP land that provide excellent cover. The ranch is located in the area where the farmland meets forest.

The terrain consists of fields and draws which are heavily to moderately covered in grass, cattails, and brush that run through the middle of wheat stubble. The ground is gentle and sloping with rolling hills and there are pockets of naturally spring feed creeks.
