BIRD HABITAT REQUIRES
THREE ESSENTIAL PROVISIONS
- Food: We leave areas of
uncut grain and natural grass for feed. The birds also feed on new
shoots of winter wheat grass.
- Water: There are natural
springs and spring fed creeks that provide fresh water.
- Cover: Our field crops are
made up of wheat and grass. The draws support native grasses,
brush, and cattails.
